How do I amend or cancel a magic checkout sale?

If you have issued a customer with a magic checkout link, you can amend or cancel the sale after the fact.

Amending the sale via Customer Lookup

  1. Go to Customer Lookup
  2. Search for the customer by full name, or email address and press “enter” on your keyboard, or the “Search” button
  3. Click “View” against the customer’s name
  4. Go to “Purchases”
  5. Click on the blue sales reference for the order that is marked as “pending” in the status column
  6. In the purchase tab, you will see dialogue box that informs you that the sale is currently in the customer’s basket
    1. Click “Continue sale in box office” if you wish to edit their basket and add more tickets
    2. Click “Cancel sale” if you wish to cancel the reservation

Amending the sale via Sales & Revenue

  1. Go to the event dashboard for the relevant event
  2. Go to Income & Sales, then select Sales & Revenue
  3. Click “View” against the customer’s name
    1. Any pending transactions will be highlighted in light blue with the following symbol        displayed in the date/time column
  1.  In the purchase tab, you will see dialogue box that informs you that the sale is currently in the customer’s basket
    1. Click “Continue sale in box office” if you wish to edit their basket and add more tickets
    2. Click “Cancel sale” if you wish to cancel the reservation
