Tickets - How do I create live stream ticket types for a "Watch again" or rental period?
To allow your attendees to re-watch the live stream after the event concludes, you'll need to enable the "Watch Again" option when creating ticket types.
With "Watch Again" enabled on your ticket types, purchasers will be able to access the recorded live stream for the duration you've specified, effectively renting the content. This flexible option maximises your monetization potential.
- Click on the “Events” button on the left hand main panel.
- Select the Dashboard of the event you want to edit.
- Click “Setup”.
- Click "Tickets".
- Click “Add Ticket Type”.
- Fill in the;
- Title
- Price
- Quantity Available
- Add any “Advanced Options” your ticket requires
- Then select the checkbox under “Livestream Access” and click “Add Ticket”.
- For a live stream, you can watch it back after the event for a short period of time (hours, days, weeks) or until a cut-off date and time.
- Select “Watch Again” and enter the cut-off date and the time re-watch expiry date after the start date and time of the original event or enter the time period (in hours). The user will be able to watch it back from ticket purchase.
- If you want to leave the rental period on until the watch again toggle is turned off in the "Livestream Studio", leave the field blank.
- Then click add ticket (or “Save Changes” for Edit Ticket).
- Your ticket types will now show the Rental Period below the title on your Buy tickets widget.
Note: Make sure your rental period is written in an accepted format by seeing if the icon next to the text field says “valid”.
IMPORTANT!: Please make sure “watch again” is enabled in the Livestream Studio of your event, otherwise ticket holders will not have access to the watch again/rental period.
