Information

Stacey Dooley returns to the festival brimming with enthusiasm and empathy, the trademarks that created one of the most respected TV documentary makers of our time.  She’s also a best-selling author.  Her new book Dear Minnie is dedicated to her daughter, a first child with Kevin Clifton, her partner in life and in Strictly Come Dancing.  Using letters written by mothers to their children in diverse and extraordinary circumstances, Stacey has written a frank, honest and sometimes amusing enquiry that moves from pregnancy to birth and beyond. She talks to Sally Magnusson about the different emotional journeys mothers make, as well as the common bonds they share.
