Join soprano Helen Hancock and pianist Daren Lane for a treasure trove of audience favourites from the vocal and solo piano repertoire.
Daren will delight you in Mozart's piano Sonata in C major, in one of Mendelssohn's Song without words and in Auschwung, the 2nd movement of Fantasiestücke by Schumann.
Helen who is acclaimed for her expressive artistry will revel in performing Schubert's very passionate Gretchen am Spinnrade, Mozart's An Chloë, Puccini's famous aria O Mio Babbino Caro, Schumann's outpouring of love in Wigmung and in the first two songs of the famous Frauenliebe und -leben. Onwards to France, Reynaldo's exquisite and frequently performed gem, Á Chloris sits beside Vaughan William's ardent Silent Noon. All topped off with Chanson d'Amour, a showstopper of passion and love by Amy Beach.
