Join novelist, journalist and filmmaker Frank Shouldice in celebrating contemporary Irish writing, featuring three acclaimed authors whose recent publications have been captivating readers across Ireland.

Frank, whose debut novel Beneath the Cedar Tree has received praise from writers including Paul Howard and Martina Devlin, will lead a conversation and readings with Martha Higgins, Aideen Henry and Christina Hennemann.

Martha Higgins will read from her debut novel Hiding from the Heart, a moving story set between rural Leitrim and Dublin in the late 1970s that has quickly found a devoted readership. Award-winning writer Aideen Henry will share poems from her acclaimed collections, exploring memory, landscape and the complexities of human experience. She is joined by Christina Hennemann, whose debut collection Birthmark has established her as one of the most exciting new voices in contemporary poetry.

Together, these writers will explore themes of place, identity, family, language and belonging through fiction and poetry, offering audiences an engaging and thought-provoking literary event.
