An inspirational evening of outdoor and adventure films

Nine adventure and outdoor sport films selected from the London Mountain Film Festival will be screened. These range in length from a few minutes to half an hour and feature a variety of activities such as rock climbing, mountaineering, fell and ultra running, trail biking, cold water swimming and kayaking. The films do not have an age classification rating but are generally suitable for 12 years+. Hosted by Broughton-in-Furness Film Club, doors of the Victory Hall will open at 6.15 pm. Programme to start at 7 pm and to finish approximately 9.45 pm, with an intermission included. Cash bar selling both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Raffle tickets on sale too with some great outdoor themed prizes including a £200 voucher to spend at Lakes Leisure Bikes in Ulverston and a £50 one for The Climbers Shop in Ambleside. There's also meal vouchers for The Old King's Head and The Square Cafe in Broughton. Winning numbers to be drawn during the event.
We are anticipating this event will be popular, so get your tickets now at the online price of £10.00. (Tickets on the door will be £12 cash, but are limited in number so subject to availability).

Profits from the event to be donated to Duddon and Furness Mountain Rescue Team. Mountain Rescue is a voluntary organisation primarily helping hill-goers in need but tasked to any areas inaccessible to the Ambulance Service.
