A dark comedy-drama by Oscar McDonald, an emerging Scottish writer, exploring postpartum psychosis, generational trauma, cycles of abuse ,and self-discovery with raw emotion and sharp humour.
Arya, a struggling single mother, returns home after work, tormented by a sinister voice in her head. At first, she laughs it off, but its true purpose is terrifying - it insists her child must die. As Arya resists,the Voice forces her to relive painful memories of lost love, past mistakes, and her mother’s neglect - making her question if she’s doomed to repeat the cycle.
