a long time favourite of ours, cai burns, makes weird and wonderful indie rock as blood wizard. former champ played a festival with the blood wizard gang last year in bristol and had a great time. cai, we said. cai, you'll be needing to come to glasgow to play songs from your excellent new album grinning william. recently we followed this up with an email extending an invitation for cai, and blood wizard, to do just that. reader.... they said yes
