Unleash your creativity in this hands-on workshop as you explore the innovative art of inflatable puppets that can be worn, manipulated and brought to life in a dazzling array of performances.

Participants will dive into the design, construction, and manipulation of these lightweight, larger-than-life creations. Learn how to transform inflatables into characters, costumes, sculptures, set pieces, and immersive structures that captivate and engage audiences.

Blending the principles of puppetry and costume design, this workshop is perfect for artists, performers, theatre makers, and educators who want to push the boundaries of performance and interactive art.

Following the workshop there will be a series of optional performance and showcase opportunities during Manipulate Festival’s weekend programme, through which participants can join industry-leading inflatables artists and test out their creations with a public audience.

This workshop takes place across two consecutive days from 10 AM to 4 PM.
