About the artist:
Australian songwriter Sarah Irvine returns to the Pianodrome with her first major collection of new work since her 2019 release with Edinburgh band Weird Cousins. Known for her delicately pure voice and introspective songwriting, Irvine will debut an intimate set of songs—some lovingly carried across years, others crafted in the tender, fleeting moments of new motherhood. Developed with support from Creative Scotland and featured on her forthcoming 2026 album, Irvine is joined by Dan Abrahams (Dowally / Wayward Jane) on guitar, Steven Feast (Tenement Jazz Band) on clarinet, and Joe Shaw (Foo Birds) on drums.
“It is a talented vocalist indeed to make such a beautifully pure tone look so effortless and her intricate guitar work is the perfect accompaniment. Make sure you don’t miss out on hearing these songs.”
Keith Scott, Live Music Promoter & Manager, Folk Night at the Depot
An understated but effortlessly engaging performer, her songs are filled with haunting fragility yet are underpinned by a delicate strength."
David Hershaw, Live Music Promoter, Folksville
