Join this duo of well acclaimed and completely breathtaking songwriters, Tom Bright & Lilla Shy for an extra special Saturday Matinée.
About the artists:
TOM BRIGHT
“ACHINGLY BEAUTIFUL” — Rev. Kate Bottley, BBC Radio 2
“THE EXCELLENT TOM BRIGHT” — Guy Garvey, BBC 6 Music
“ONE OF THE UK’S MOST MOVING SONGWRITERS” — John Kennedy, Radio X
Tom Bright is a relentlessly touring songwriter whose songs land with emotional weight and unvarnished honesty. 2025 saw him make his third television appearance on BBC One’s Sunday Morning Live, serenade thousands at his fifth Glastonbury Festival, and sell out shows across the UK and beyond.
Armed with a guitar signed by Johnny Marr of The Smiths and John Squire of the Stone Roses, Bright's tireless graft has seen him hit iconic heights of the London Palladium, Shepherd’s Bush Empire, appear on BBC’s The One Show and Sky News, and record countless live sessions and interviews for BBC Radio 2, 5 Live, Radio X and more. Along the way, he’s shared stages with The Libertines, Mystery Jets, Tom Grennan, Reverend & The Makers, Katherine Priddy, Ed Harcourt and others.
He has collaborated with The The, earned continued support from tastemakers Guy Garvey and John Kennedy and spent two years on Spotify’s Most Beautiful Songs in the World playlist with 'If I Met Your Shadow'.
In May, Tom released Young Old Bloke, a collection of early songs produced by Mick Jones (The Clash) and Dirty White. He has three previous albums in the world — all produced by Ed Harcourt. Away from the stage, his story is just as remarkable: once the UK’s youngest pub landlord, and a childhood marked by multiple life-saving surgeries.
Tom is currently working on his fifth studio album, with Blaine Harrison (Mystery Jets) handling production.

LILLA SHY
“So, so good.” – Patrick Kielty (BBC 5Live)
“Excellent stuff.” – John Kennedy (Radio X)
“Each track brims with raw, anthemic energy [...] revealing the depth of her musical artistry.” – Wonderland Magazine
London-based singer-songwriter Lilla Shy wears her heart — and her name — on her sleeve. Named after the childhood blanket that comforted her through moments of shyness and social anxiety, Lilla Shy embodies vulnerability turned into strength.
Her musical journey began in 2017 writing for DJs on the international EDM circuit, but it wasn’t until July 2022 that she stepped into her own spotlight, launching an autobiographical Indie/Bedroom Pop project driven by the urge to tell her own stories.
Fast forward to now and the transformation has been remarkable. Following the release of her self-produced debut album ‘Layers’ in September 2024, Lilla has toured relentlessly across the UK and Europe — from Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Newcastle down to Nottingham, Brighton and beyond: France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, and her native Italy. Highlights-to-date include supporting Matteo Bocelli at The London Palladium, performing at BBC Introducing Live, selling out her debut headline show at The Troubadour, and even appearing on the line-up at Glastonbury Festival 2025.
Her music has earned nationwide airplay from John Kennedy (Radio X), Jodie Bryant (Voices Radio), Dean Jackson (BBC Introducing), Jaqueline Shepherd (BBC Radio London), and Patrick Kielty (BBC 5Live). Editorial DSP support from Spotify (Borderless, Fresh Finds, New Music Friday) and Apple Music (New Pop), plus a glowing feature in Wonderland Magazine, have cemented her as one of the UK’s most exciting new voices.
Now, with her second album freshly recorded — produced by the acclaimed Ed Harcourt (Paloma Faith, Sophie Ellis-Bextor) and mixed by Alessandro La Barbera (Sans Soucis)— 2026 promises to be her boldest chapter yet.
Born in Rome but artistically reborn in London, Lilla Shy is captivating hearts with her ethereal vocals and beautifully honest songwriting — proof that sometimes, the quietest types carry the loudest truths.
