George will share stories about some of the most significant works at The Macallan, including the construction of the new distillery and TimeSpirit restaurant, which opened in October last year. George was distillery engineer at Highland Park before relocating to Speyside. Moving into project management saw him part of a team delivering significant investment for primary production.

Assuming the role of UK Engineering Manager, he amalgamated all engineering functions within Edrington, leading a period of exceptional growth.

This five-hour deep delve into The Macallan includes a guided production experience through the distillery, and tutored tasting of a carefully curated The Macallan whisky in our iconic Cave Privée. You'll be invited to The Macallan Bar to experience a Macallan whisky flight.

Afterwards, enjoy a personal shopping experience in The Macallan Boutique. This event will provide a greater understanding of how the rich legacy of The Macallan's past has influenced the present, and provides inspiration for the future.
