Join celebrity chefs Matt Tebbutt and Tony Singh for an exclusive Saturday evening get togther
When Matt Tebbutt made his first trip to Stranraer Oyster Festival last year, it would be fair to say he arrived a little uncertain about quite what he was walking into. By the time he left, two things had become clear: festival audiences couldn't get enough of him, and Matt couldn't get enough of Stranraer! Every one of his appearances sold out at speed, and he's been keen to come back ever since. So back he comes, paired again with festival Chef Ambassador Tony Singh, because the two of them got on so perfectly last year.
Matt is one of television's most familiar faces, presenting Saturday Kitchen and turning up across the BBC's food programming. Tony is a regular guest on Saturday Kitchen too, and the rapport between them translates beautifully to a live festival stage. Expect stories about memorable moments, plenty of audience interaction, and a moderate amount of chaos.
Matt will be travelling to Stranraer straight from presenting Saturday Kitchen earlier that day. We've scheduled the event slightly later than last year to give his schedule a bit more breathing room, so we expect him to arrive in plenty of time. In the unlikely event of travel disruption, the festival team reserve the right to make alternative arrangements.
All attendees will be invited to enjoy a glass of Prosecco, a dram of Rock Island whisky or a non-alcoholic alternative on arrival, plus freshly prepared pizza from some of the festival's onsite traders.
Please note, we are unable to cater for specific dietary requirements at this event. Due to the inclusion of alcohol, this event is designed for those aged 18 and over.
