Tony Singh returns for another inspiring demonstration
There's only one way to ease into Saturday morning at Stranraer Oyster Festival: with a brew in hand and Tony Singh in full flow. The festival's Chef Ambassador opens the Saturday Kitchen Marquee programme with a morning of cooking, conversation and the trademark warmth and humour that have made Tony a festival favourite.
Tony has been a champion of Stranraer Oyster Festival for many years, returning year after year to share his love of Scotland's natural larder. As he puts it:
"What the community of Stranraer have achieved with their oyster festival is remarkable, and I'm delighted to support it. Scotland has a diverse and delicious natural larder, and the wild, native oysters of Loch Ryan are right up there with the very best our country has to offer."
Expect big flavours, clever techniques, and generous, infectious storytelling that turns a cookery demo into something a memorable occassion. This is the only solo cookery demo Tony is doing this year. If you've been to one of his shows before, you'll know they sell out fast, so early booking strongly recommended.
Tea, coffee or Irn Bru included on arrival.
