Fungi Foray

Join us on an autumnal walk in the woods to hunt for fungi on our Fungi Foray.

Information

Led by Christina, our Active Travel Officer, we'll take a gentle walk around a nearby wood, looking for edible and non-edible fungi.

We'll be joined by local fungi enthusiasts Steve and Dave, who will share their knowledge, and introduce us to the key points in helping ID fungi, and the families they are from. If you have an interest in fungi, this walk is for you! Come along, whether you have no knowledge, or you're an expert!

Exact location will be decided closer to the time, depending on what our enthusiasts can find nearby. There may be a short journey by car or bike required, but we will endeavour to offer lift shares where possible. Please contact us if this would be an issue for you.

Important Information
This is a ticketed event and booking is essential.

Please feel free to bring a drink and snack with you, wear sturdy footwear, and dress for the weather conditions on the day.

Children under 18 must attend with a responsible adult.

We take photographs at our events to help promote our activities and impacts. These photographs will be used on our social media channels including this website, and for the purposes of reporting to funders. If you do not wish for your photograph to be taken, please notify a member of staff at the event.
