We're delighted to be hosting a screening of Rooted: Growing a Local Food Ecosystem on Thursday 20th February at Kirrie Connections.
How can we work together to create a fair, healthy, and sustainable food system?
Ahead of Kirriemuir Tattie Day 2025, we’re hosting a screening of Rooted: Growing a Local Food Ecosystem, on Thursday 20th February from 6.30-9pm in Kirrie Connections.
Rooted is a 50-minute documentary focused on nature friendly farmers and food producers across Dumfries and Galloway. It explores ways to access local food, and visits community projects, inspiring good food citizenship.
We'll meet at 6.30pm for tea and cake before watching the inspiring documentary from 7pm. Afterwards, we'll continue the conversation with guest panellist Ian Davis hosting a short Q&A.
All money raised from ticket sales will be used towards furthering Sustainable Kirriemuir's Food & Growing aims.
We really hope to see you for this informative and inspiring event.
Rooted has been made in collaboration with Soft Error (Emma Dove), with D&G Sustainable Food Partnership, and funded by Inspiring Scotland.
